Telehealth Disclosure

Last updated: April 20, 2026

1. What Is Telehealth

Telehealth involves the use of electronic communications — including video, phone, and secure messaging — to enable healthcare providers to connect with patients remotely. Juvenis Medical offers telehealth consultations via secure video or phone for eligible patients.

2. Florida Law

Telehealth services provided by Juvenis Medical are conducted in compliance with Florida Statute §456.47 and applicable regulations of the Florida Department of Health.

3. Scope of Services Available via Telehealth

The following services may be available through telehealth, subject to clinical evaluation:

  • Initial consultations and follow-up visits
  • Review of lab results and hormone panels
  • Peptide therapy (non-controlled substances) — available to patients nationwide
  • Testosterone Replacement Therapy (TRT) and other controlled substances — available to Florida residents only, subject to evaluation and applicable law
  • Weight management (GLP-1 medications) — available to Florida residents
  • BHRT (Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy) — available to Florida residents

4. Limitations of Telehealth

Some conditions or clinical situations require in-person evaluation. Dr. Paul Goodkin reserves the right to require an in-person visit before prescribing any medication. Telehealth is not appropriate for medical emergencies — if you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 immediately.

5. Technology Requirements

To participate in a telehealth visit, patients need a device with a functioning camera and microphone (smartphone, tablet, or computer) and a reliable internet connection. We use HIPAA-compliant video platforms for all consultations.

6. Privacy and Confidentiality

All telehealth sessions are private and confidential. Consultations are conducted on secure, HIPAA-compliant platforms. Sessions are not recorded without your explicit written consent.

7. Patient Rights

As a telehealth patient, you have the right to:

  • Refuse telehealth services and request in-person care instead
  • Withdraw consent for telehealth at any time without affecting your right to care
  • Receive the same standard of care as patients seen in person

8. Prescriptions

Prescriptions issued through Juvenis Medical are fulfilled through licensed compounding pharmacies. We do not dispense medications directly from our office.
